Etihad Airways Bike Fees and Policies

When flying with a bike on Etihad Airways, it can be included as part of your baggage allowance as long as it does not exceed the maximum dimensions of 300cm.

If your bike exceeds the weight allowance of your free checked baggage allowance, you will be charged an overweight fee.

When flying to/from Canada and the USA, and your bike is in addition to your free checked baggage allowance, the standard extra bag fee will be charged - this can get very expensive, so keep it in mind when planning your trip.

The cost per bag, up to 23kg, varies depending on the destination:

- From US & Canada to GCC: $270
- From US & Canada to Middle East: $300
- From US & Canada to Asia: $300*
- From US & Canada to Africa: $300
- From US & Canada to Europe: $300
- From US & Canada to South West Pacific: $330
- From US & Canada to Indian Sub Continent: $300
- *From US or Canada to Japan: $275
- *From US or Canada to Korea: $275

If your bag weighs up to 32kg, the cost per bag increases:

- From US & Canada to GCC: $324
- From US & Canada to Middle East: $360
- From US & Canada to Asia: $360*
- From US & Canada to Africa: $360
- From US & Canada to Europe: $360
- From US & Canada to South West Pacific: $396
