SAS Scandinavian Airlines Bike Fees and Policies

SAS Airlines only accepts bicycles f they are packed in a suitable protective bike bag, box or a similar container. A bicycle is considered as one regular piece of checked baggage. If you exceed the baggage allowance on your ticket, you can add an extra piece of baggage to your booking. It is best to do this as early as possible, as prices for extra bags go up the closer you get to your departure date.

When packing your bike, turn the handlebars a quarter-turn, remove the pedals & reduce the tire pressure or deflate them entirely. We also recommend covering the chain.

Register your bike in your booking prior to departure.

Electric bicycles are considered dangerous goods and must be sent as Cargo - e-bikes are not accepted as a regular piece of luggage.
