SCUBA Diving gear is accepted on TUIfly flights as checked baggage, upon payment of a 65 EUR sports equipment fee. This allows you to bring up to a maximum of 30kg of diving gear.

Air tanks used for diving must be completely empty.
Dive lights may be transported in carry-on and in checked baggage. The power source (battery) and the illuminant (bulb) must not be connected.
Please note that you MUST register your diving gear and dive light with the TUIfly airline before arriving at the airport, otherwise it may be refused for carriage at the check-in desk, or be subject to additional fees.
