British Airways will accept your diving equipmenprovided it is packed in a recognised kit bag and does not exceed the maximum dimensions and weight restrictions for checked baggage. Bags weighing more than 23kg (51lb) may incur a heavy bag charge of 65 GBP / 75 EUR / 100 USD / 100 CAD.
Your diving equipment will count toward your free checked baggage allowance, and will incur a standard baggage fee if you exceed your luggage allowance. The maximum size accepted is 190 x 75 x 65 cm. [AMZ asins='B00NIYJF6U,B001PB6R4Q,B009F1924K,B00ZHPLCS2']

Diving lamps
Diving Lamps require prior approval - please contact British Airways at least 24 hours before your flight to get approval. If approved for carriage, the bulb or fuse must be removed and packed separately from the power source.
Cylinder Tanks must be empty and presented for inspection at check-in.
Spear guns and harpoons must be packed separately.
