Virgin Atlantic Snowboard Fees

Virgin Atlantic will accept your snowboard gear at no extra charge as part of your free baggage allowance, in place of one of your suitcases - as long as it doesn’t exceed 23 kg / 50 lbs. Otherwise, an overweight fee will apply.

Snowboarding:
One snowboard
Boots and bindings
One helmet

If you’re the talented type that can both ski and snowboard, note that Virgin Atlanticc claims they will not take both sets of gear as part of your free baggage allocation – it’s one or the other.
