Iberia Airlines Golf Bag Fees and Policies

Iberia Airlines accepts a set of golf clubs to be checked-in as a piece of sporting equipment. A special "Sports Equipment" fee applies to your golf bag on short-haul and medium-haul routes, whereas it counts as a regular piece of luggage (can be included in your free checked baggage allowance) on long-haul international flights (regular excess baggage fees apply if exceeding your free checked luggage allowance).

Iberia defines one golf set as no more than 14 sticks, 12 balls and 1 pair of golf shoes. Everything must be securely packed in an appropriate golf travel case.

Your golf equipment bag may weigh up to a maximum of 23 kg / 50 lbs, otherwise an overweight baggage fee will apply (up to a maximum of 32 kg / 70 lbs).
