Edelweiss Air defines a bike as: "1 regular bike (no motor and no E-Bike*) OR 1 special children's trolley to use with a bike OR 1 One-Wheel-Bike (up to max. 23 kg incl. packaging)". Maximum total dimensions (L+W+H) of your bike box must not exceed 275cm.

Tandem Bikes can be brought on Edelweiss Air, up to maximum total dimensions of 350 cm (315 cm long), but not for free - you will have to pay the "Category Big" sports equipment fee.

E-Bikes cannot be accepted because of the battery, so you can only fly with an E-Bike if the battery is removed and left at home.

If your bike box weighs more than 23 kg / 50 lbs, up to maximum of 32 kg / 70 lbs, you can still bring with Edelweiss, but you will have to pay the "Category Big" sports equipment fee. Tandem Bikes also do not qualify for free transport, and must fly as "Category Big" sports equipment items.
