Croatia Airlines Bike Fees and Policies

Bicycles are accepted on Croatia Airlines flights upon payment of the appropriate baggage fee.

E-bicycle has an engine, and cannot be classified as sports equipment, and is subject to regular excess luggage fees. Its battery may not exceed 160 watt hours. A spare battery (if any) can be transported in the aircraft cabin as hand luggage.

A bicycle is defined as 1 regular bike (no motor / no e-bike) or 1 special children's trolley to use with a bike or 1 one-wheel bike. It is classified as "NORMAL" sports equipment by Croatia Airlines.

A Tandem Bike is defined as 1 tandem bike with max 2 seats (no motor / no e-bike). It is classified as "BIG" sports equipment by Croatia Airlines, meaning items over 32kg and/or from 201-277cm.

Due to its volume and weight, the number of sports equipment is restricted and must be pre-notifed at time of reservation. The acceptance of items exceeding 32kg and/or 158cm maximum dimensions requires pre-authorization by Croatia Airlines.
