Virgin Australia will accept your SCUBA Diving equipment within your checked baggage allowance, as long as it is within the accepted weight limit of 23 kg - otherwise an overweight fee applies (up to a maximum weight of 32 kg).

You may need to purchase additional bags if flying with your SCUBA gear in addition to your standard baggage. Keep in mind, if flying on a Lite fare, that your fare does not include any free checked bags - you will have to add and pay for all bags online before your flight.
You may pre-purchase up to a maximum of 2 additional checked bags ahead of time - if you need more bags, you will only be able to add and pay for them at the airport, at the higher "At the Airport" rate, during check-in:
