Your diving gear will count as one regular piece of baggage, and may be taken in plae of a regular suitcase as part of your baggage allowance. If exceeding your baggage allowance, you will have to add an extra suitcase to your booking. It is best to do so as early as possible, as prices go up the closer you get to your flight.

Your SCUBA Diving gear is limited in weight to 23 kg / 50 lbs, otherwise an overweight baggage fee will be charged. The overweight baggage fee depends on the origin/destination of your flight, and the weight of the bag. The maximum weight allowed is 32 kg / 70 lbs.
